TWO ASYMPTOTIC CASES OF OPTIMUM REDUNDANCIES

The problem of optimum redundancy in radio-electronic equipment has very long history. Methods of solving problems of optimum redundancy are well developed, starting from strict methods of dynamic programming and the quickest descent, and finishing with various approximate procedures. The basic sphere of application of the mentioned methods consists of the provision of systems with spare elements.

ESTIMATION OF PARAMETERS FOR GEOMETRICAL PROCESS MODEL BY MAXIMUM LIKLIHOOD METHOD

The paper considers the behaviour of restorable items, which themselves are complex systems consisting of several elements. The model of geometrical processes is used for the description of the reliability of the items. Formulas for obtaining model parameters under assumption of various distribution of mean time to the first failure are deduced. Values of parameters according to real data of pumping equipment for NV (Novovoronezh) NPP operation are determined.
Keywords: geometrical process model, restorable system, maximum likelihood method.

ESTIMATION OF ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM RELIABILITY DURING LONG-TERM PLANNING OF SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT ON THE BASIS OF AN ANALYSIS OF ITS MODES OF OPERATION

The paper presents an estimation of static mode operational reliability of Stavropol territory’s electrical power system (EPS). The probability of non-failure operation has been defined and a check of criterion n-1 carried out. An algorithm that considers results of reliability estimation at planning of the long-term development of the electrical power system is proposed. Recommendations for the long-term development planning of the considered electrical power system are also formulated.

RELIABILITY CRITERIA OF INSULATION SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRIC MACHINES, THE CHOICE OF AN OPTIMUM ATERNATIVE FOR INSULATION SYSTEMS

This paper presents an analysis of qualitative characteristics of the behavior of electric insulating materials’ at temperatures up to 200 oC in electric fields up to 10 kV. The choice of an optimum alternative /insulation system for a traction electric motor is considered.

METHOD FOR DEFINITION OF SAFETY SYSTEM RATED PARAMETERS OF ANTI-DAMAGE PROTECTION FOR PROCESSES OF PRODUCTION PREPARATION OF OIL-AND-GAS WELLS

The paper offers a method for defining safety system rated parameters of anti-damage protection for processes of production preparation of oil-and-gas wells, providing acceptable risk of technological processes according to GOST Р IEC 61508 guidelines. This method is based on the choice of acceptable risk according to the datasheet of the classification considering overall risk of all equipment by means of which the technological process is realized. An example illustrating an application of this method is presented.
Keywords: safety, risk, system of anti-damage protection, layers of protection, factor of risk reduction, safety-integrity level.

THE RELIABILITY OF CONTAMINANT DISPERSION WHEN INCREASING DISTANCE FROM A SINGLE SOURCE OF POLLUTION
A method for predicting atmospheric pollution by different process of manufacture and exploitation of emissions is offered in this paper. There is the whole range of models for contamination spreading. The choice of a model depends on many factors. The model must be defined by the purpose of computation, which determines the decision-making approach. In this article only two models are considered. The fundamentals of the study have general application.
Keywords: source of pollution, model, concentration, atmosphere, random choice - rnd (x), regeneration, pollution rate.

METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF INCREASING RELIABILITY FOR REGIONAL IMPORT-SUBSTITUTION COMPLEX OPERATIONS
The application of system reliability theory in the management of complex regional import-substitution operations is an extremely urgent matter in conditions of incomplete certainty of operation of economic players and systems in the format of market relations. The purpose of the present paper is to demonstrate the possibility of using system reliability theory in the management of complex regional import-substitution. The novelty of the present paper consists in the author’s application of a cybernetic model for increasing reliability in the management of import-substitution regional manufacture. As a result of research, the following conclusions have been made: system reliability of consistently connected elements can be brought arbitrary closer to full safety of operation due to corresponding duplication of elements in separate parts of consecutive connections with the help of alternative parallel connections. The paper presents an example of influence assessment of duplicate elements on increasing the reliability of specific complex regional import-substitutions. It is asserted that the duplication of elements comprising individual parts rapidly increases the reliability of the whole system with consecutive connection of elements.
Keywords: management of regional import substituting-complex, reliability theory, redundant elements.
