ON IMPORTANCE OF ADEQUATE MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR ENGINEERING RELIABILITY ANALYSIS
A number of publications on probabilistic analysis of reliability are written in pure “academic” style, where the authors with self-forgetfulness are building “ivory castles” thinking nothing about real essence of real technical objects. However, the mathematical model’s adequacy to a real object is much more important than the so-called “mathematical strictness”. In particular, heuristics based on rigid asymptotic theorems of the Renewal Theory gives more convenient and understandable methods of reliability evaluation.

DUBBED THE REPLACEMENT SYSTEM WITH CONTROL
Generalization of expression for function of readiness of the technical duplicated system is given, received earlier academician B.V.Gnedenko, allowing to take into account reliability of the control of a condition of its elements. Basic feature of model is that the probability of refusal of an element is multiplied on conducting function of the law of distribution of time of restoration - « a resource of restoration » in the formulation of professor N.M.Sedjakina. It has allowed to receive the given model in the closed kind, in view of the control suitable for calculations at any distributions.
Keywords: the duplicated system, B.V.Gnedenko's model, probability of the control, a resource of restoration, the period of regeneration.

DYNAMIC FAULT TREES
A problem of dynamic reliability models creation using fault-trees is considered. Dynamic fault-tree gates modeling common cause failures and basic events sequence are described. Markov models implementing main dynamic gates (PAND, SEQ, SPARE, FDEP) are analyzed. The article contains examples of dynamic fault-trees models featuring reliability behavior of emergency protection system, hybrid redundancy schemes with unreliable switch, damages accumulation. Relex software is used in fault-trees and markov models construction.

MODEL OF RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF OBJECTS WITH INCOMLETE RECOVERY
The behavior of the restored system using a model of geometric processes is considered. Formulas for calculating the basic characteristics of reliability are obtained. Characteristics of repairable objects such as parameter of the failures flow and cumulative function are calculated. Limit solutions describing the asymptotic behavior of the parameters are obtain. The numerical experiments confirm the analytically derived asymptotic.

CALCULATION OF STEEL FRAME RELIABILITY ACCORDING TO STABILITY MEASURE AT MULTIPARAMETER LOAD USING CHEBESHEV'S INEQUALITY
A new method for reliability analysis of bearing units is considered by the limited statistical information about the system parameters of a limit state mathematical model by using Popkovich’s theorem. For describing the parameters of the limit state model, the bounding probability distribution functions produced by Chebyshev’s inequality are used. The obtained system reliability measures are interval-valued.

PROBLEMS OF CALCULATION OF INDICATORS OF SUFFICIENCY AND OPTIMIZATION OF STOCKS IN SYSTEMS THE SPARE PARTS, TOOLS AND ACCESSORY
The basic problems arising at designing of systems the spare parts, tools and accessory by traditional methods are considered. It is shown that at their use the settlement estimation of indicators of reliability of redundant restored products has an essential error. The basic aspects of application of methods of imitating modeling for calculations of indicators of reliability of redundant restored products are considered at limited system the spare parts, tools and accessory.

APPLICATION OF EXCESS L0W-FREQUENCY NOISE FOR NONDESTRUCTIVE CONTROL OF SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES
Connection of excess low-frequency noise with degradation processes in semiconductors is analysed. Dependences of characteristics of noise on degree of degradation and speed of degradation of semiconductor structures are established. It is shown that noise characteristics contain the information on lacks of quality of semiconductor devices both arising at manufacturing, and shown at operation. The additional arguments proving efficiency of application of excess low-frequency noise for nondestructive control of semiconductor devices are obtained.

FUNCTIONAL RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS SOFTWARE
The present article provides the definition of "functional reliability of software", for which there is a proposed number of attributes (indicators) and the formulas for calculating them. These indicators cover an error-free execution of basic software functions, conversion correctness of source data in intermediate and output data, the recoverability after an error is detected, the readiness of the software to fulfill any requests for data processing, etc. The paper presents a practical example of calculating the values of attributes of the proposed functional reliability based on empirical data derived from testing and debugging software.
Keywords: Functional reliability of software, functional reliability attributes correctness of a program execution, the level of correctness; detection software errors, serviceability of programs for rehabilitation, software functional availability, software testability, software immunity to errors.

Well forgotten (introduction)
In this section, the publication of valuable editorial begins, in it opinion, the articles recently published in Russia (USSR)
but not seen the rest of the world and is now virtually unknown in general. Unfortunately, because of some very useful techniques
receptions and even have to reinvent the opening, as the need for them is still there and still compels us to seek
accomplish the same tasks. The editors seek thus to encourage the younger generation of researchers to continue the already done work,
that they did not start from the beginning.

OBSERVED STATISTICAL RISKS IN INSPECTION FOR QUALITY & RELIABILITY
This paper presents the concept of observed risks. These risks are determined after test for statistical inspection of quality or reliability and depend on the test results. They allow to evaluate probabilities of erroneous decisions not before em experiment as traditional (planned) producer's and consumer's risks but after experiment. We prove mathematically the main properties of the observed risks. Numerical examples illustrate defined concept and demonstrate its usefulness.
